je suis charlie

right now i am in Chamonix, but you have most likely heard about the shooting at the offices of Charlie Hebdo. i am fine and was not in Paris during the attack. my apartment is 4.21 km away form the offices. the magazine had published cartoons depicting Muhammad which is against the Islamic religion. four or five shooters entered the Charlie Habdo's office and shoot the main editor and about half of the reporters. yesterday they police found the shooters and killed them. France is shaken up about this declared terrorist attack. i think that the magazine had some right to publish this because of the freedom of press but they also took it a little to far. i do not think that it was okay way to respond by killing these reporters.
